Cloudflare Computer — an open-source repo from Cloudflare that gives your AI agent its own machine: a full Linux environment with real binaries and real network. Everything it saves stays (the files live in a Durable Object), so it's not a sandbox that gets wiped when the session ends. It can install what it needs, browse the internet and do the work — and you set it up once, not every time.

How to start

Install the package in your Cloudflare Workers project:

npm install @cloudflare/computer

Follow the package README and the runnable examples in the repo (examples/container, examples/worker-shell…).
Want to control its internet access? The examples/egress example shows how to set custom egress (outbound) policies.

⚠️ It's still in preview: APIs can change and it's not meant for production yet. Try it on your small projects first. The code is free and open-source; running it uses your own Cloudflare account, and Cloudflare's normal pricing applies.
