Claude Code (or Codex) builds your app, but it can't see what it built — so you keep sending screenshots and re-explaining. These 5 tools let it check its own work:

1. Playwright CLI — opens your app in a browser, takes screenshots of each section and reads the errors before you even see them. By Microsoft.

2. Supabase plugin — official Supabase plugin: your agent builds and manages your app's whole database (tables, migrations, Edge Functions) from the terminal.

The first time it's used, your browser opens so you can sign in to Supabase and allow access.

3. Context7 — gives Claude the latest docs for the libraries you use, so it stops writing old code.

Needs Node.js 22.13 or newer. A free Context7 API key is recommended for higher rate limits.

4. SkillUI — point it at any site you like and it extracts the design system (colors, fonts, spacing, components) into files Claude can read, so it builds in the same style.

--mode ultra also needs Playwright (see the README). It's a small, new project — and use it for inspiration, don't clone someone else's brand.

5. Strix — open-source AI pentesting: it attacks your app like a hacker would and shows you the holes before you launch.

Strix needs Docker running and an API key from an AI provider (that provider bills its usage). Only scan apps you own or have written permission to test. To use it from Claude Code, the README also offers npx skills add usestrix/strix.
