What it does

It attacks your app for real — your code, a GitHub repo or your live URL — looking for security issues and gaps hackers could use to get in or steal your API keys.
For every issue it gives you proof that it's real (it actually exploited it), plus a suggested fix.
It runs on the model key you already have: Claude, GPT, Gemini (via OpenRouter, for example) or a local model.
The report is something you can show your client — it makes your work look much more professional. 💼

Setup (needs Docker running + an LLM API key)

Install Strix:

curl -sSL https://strix.ai/install | bash

Configure your AI provider:

export STRIX_LLM="openrouter/z-ai/glm-5.3"
export LLM_API_KEY="your-api-key"

Run your first scan:

strix --target ./app-directory

Or test your deployed app:

strix --target https://your-app.com

⚠️ Authorized use only. Strix really attacks the target — only run it against apps you own or have explicit, written permission to test. Testing someone else's site without permission is illegal in most countries.

The open-source version is free (you only pay your own model usage). Strix Cloud and Enterprise are separate hosted options. 🛡️
